2. Overview
Hello, I’m Hayk – a Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educomplex
student from 9th class. I’ve been looking for things
around the world that I would like to change. I thought
about Tesla cars, and I had an idea about the charging
process.
3. Main Idea
Elon Musk – the founder of Tesla, said that the main
target of their cars is to reduce oil usage level and
increase the number of cars that consume electricity
instead of gas or other fuel. But this is the half of the
plan, cause electricity is produced in factories that
cause big CO2 emissions. So solar panels were created,
which collect the sun energy and turn them into usable
electricity.
4. Solar Panels
My idea is to attach solar panels to electric cars, so that
people could put them on the roof of the car and
charge it while driving, and it would let them not to
spend time to find a charging station and drive longer
than without solar panels. Of course, it’s an extra
expense, but I think that it will only add an extra $500-
1000 to the present price of cars, but it won’t
significantly affect the market and lose customers. It
will also no longer depend on power plants, which will
help to reduce carbon emissions.
5. Possible Effects
From my point of view, this change may generally have good
effects on environment. From a business perspective, this
“update” will make Tesla better than other electric car
companies, and it will have a huge importance. Ecology will
also benefit from this change, cause less chemicals will be
released, and many animals, plants and other living
organisms won’t be endangered. People will also be grateful
cause their lives will be easier than before. Just imagine,
you are going somewhere, and you don’t have to care about
your car’s battery anymore. You’ll also have an autopilot
mode, that will drive for you and there won’t even be a
chance to get into an accident.
6. Expectations
This is just an idea, just a school project, but I
wouldn’t mind to have this idea grown and I’d like Mr.
Musk to know about my suggestion and give his opinion
or advice. This would help me to be more creative and
be able to analyze every possible risk or outcome of
events.
