- Good afternoon and welcome, we are Team Minkle and today we talk about a mobile app that we are developing which has gotten us all very excited Until a decade ago the desktop was the only means for accessing web based services. The advent of GPRS and smartphones was supposed to be the harbinger for mobile access for these services however apart from E-mail, courtesy the Blackberry, none of the other services has truly been made available on these phones. With mobile internet still being slow, tedious and cumbersome. Only a few years back, post the launch of the iPhone, were people exposed to apps that could deliver a good user experience and make it convinient to access their favourite web services.
- We aim to fill in the need for smart, sleek apps for users equipped with smartphones and high level Java enabled phones looking for an application experience close to that offered by the iPhone
- Minkle is positioned as a premium mobile platform offering quality apps focusing on 1. Definite utility, 2. User Experience and 3. User engagement
