Call for Nominations: IABC Victoria Bronze Quill Communicator of the Year Awards
2. Introduction
2015 IABC Victoria Bronze Quill Communicator of the Year Awards
Welcome:
The IABC Victoria Bronze Quill Communicator of the Year (CoTY) Awards provide a unique opportunity to
acknowledge truly out of the ordinary communication excellence.
Unlike most other communication awards programs, the CoTY Awards celebrate the individual. They aren’t
based on projects, but on the ability of a communicator to deliver the very best day in, day out. As such, they will
become a powerful statement that will support the winners’ careers for years to come.
Just as importantly, the CoTY Awards are open to everyone… not just the most experienced among us. CoTY
Awards are being made available in three categories: Emerging Star, Established and Senior Leader.
The CoTY Awards will be judged by a senior selection panel. Depending on the category, this panel will be
looking for qualities such as:
Exceptional leadership, management and communication skills.
The ability to deliver measurable value.
Initiative in the management of communication programs.
The highest ethical and professional standards.
