 Aims to improve the livelihoods of Kenyans by
ensuring the availability of accessible, affordable
, efficient and reliable ICT services.
 The national policy addresses several sections
among them being Information technology with t

 But the paradox is that for those groups that ar

has been involved in the training teachers for the postgraduate Certificatio

ICT Based Teaching and Information management.

subsequent challenges of implementing reconstruction

Africa upper-room is a faith-based

• AUM will complete the construction of the 7000 disciple development
center & host conferences and camps for youth at the facility.

farming and introduce efficient and beneficial agricultural practices

- These regions were purely occupied by the MAASAI
community, but because of the superhighway and
outsiders who came to occupy these regions,
the MAASAI community were displaced and
lost their land.

but their educational standards are too low
and they don’t have any special skills to
make a living.

In March, 2013 we signed an MOU with the International University of
Professional Studies (IUPS) to collaborate in capacity building of teachers
from marginalized societies through ICT skills training.

In April, 2014 we expanded our Cyber University programs outreach to Nakuru
County in Gilgil Kikopey targeting the teachers and educators from that region.
Primary school teachers from Kikopey, Gilgil, Nakuru County attending
an IBTM meeting at the 7000 Disciples Vision Center.

< IBTM Program >
We visited various primary and secondary schools in Gilgil district,
Nakuru county to create awareness of our Cyber University and IBTM.

We have approached and engaged over 30 Primary School teachers in
Nakuru County, Gilgil district.
Primary school teachers with computers during the IBTM awareness campaign in their schools .

We have held teachers’ forums and ICT integration seminars in
Kikopey, Gilgil, Nakuru County with teachers from schools in Gilgil area.

IBTM will capacity build the teachers in pastoralist communities
and promote efficiency in content delivery in schools.

Our cyber University currently has 21 classmate PCs laptops.
These are made for education purposes and have a longer battery life than the
normal laptops. We usually charge them overnight and use them during the day
without charging them. They are all installed with Microsoft Windows 7 and
Microsoft Office software.

< E-Learning Program >
Our e-learning program will equip the women from the pastoralist
communities with Language skills, entrepreneurial and business skills
Women in a e-learning business class at GCSI center.

We will also train the women on how to use a computer. Then assign
a computer to them in groups of two and then give them the language
course, entrepreneurial and business education through the computers

After the training, they will graduate with
a certificate of participation in our program.

Our e-learning program will also support children from the
Pastoralist communities in Nakuru county.

We will support the local schools from the pastoralist communities
with cyber class education through our Cyber University.

We will also have the Youth Cyber Camp program. Targeting teenagers
in upper primary school and high school. We will give them basic
computer skills using our laptops.

Through our collaboration with IUPS we have been able to offer other
capacity building programs to the teachers from the pastoralist
communities.

We have done leadership training and personal development skills training
with the teachers from this region.

7000 Disciples Vision Center we will train the local pastoralist
