  1. JRF – Jordanian River Foundation PENHA - the Pastoral and Environmental Network in the Horn of Africa
  2. More focus on natural resource management and improved agricultural technologies in NENA Largely implemented through national agricultural research centres which often have strong links with IFAD projects (example The Livestock, Barley and Climate Change as well as Mountain Water Management)
  3. Status - Improved Water Management for Sustainable Mountain agriculture grant: Better management of scarce water resources in mountain agro-ecosystems The main achievements to-date have been the initiation of experiments and dissemination outside the Talzemt site (Morocco), introduction of water harvesting/soil conservation systems techniques, and deficit and drip irrigation methods for fruit trees. Status - Improving Food Security and Climate Change adaptability of livestock producers of the rainfed barley-based system Improved food security and climate change adaptability in rainfed areas dependent on barley and livestock production. The project has progressed well and is implementing the activities according to the work plan. More experience was gained in Climate Change map downscaling, and the confidence of the teams was increased by means of training and interaction at both national and regional levels. Status - Knowledge management in CACILM II Enhanced resilience to land degradation and climate variability. The project managed to establish working relationships with the teams in all five countries of Central Asia, and is networking with a number of international and regional initiatives on building and integrating the knowledge hub. GEF (completed): Cross-cutting M&E functions and KM for INMR within the MENARID programme framework A unified M&E framework was generated to help assess project impact including south-south cooperation
