•  Poor relationships between managers and
   employees is a key factor in turnover.

                        Relationship Test

•  First and last name of every employee who reports to you or is
   in on your team (extra credit for spelling and two levels).
•  Name of their spouse, children and/or pet.
•  Most significant event in their professional life in the past six
   months.
•  Most significant event in their personal life in the past six
   months.
•  What is their passion in life (hobby, music, writing, kids,
   grandkids, boating, reading, etc.).

  Don’t Forget Positive Feedback
•  Your imbalance of daily feedback should be positive 
•  Ample opportunities everyday to provide positive
   encouragement
•  Be genuine
•  Share the wealth with your team members-don’t focus
   it all on the superstars
•  Positive feedback can be public feedback but be careful
