Programme Course: ​Teaching Youth Entrepreneurship Education
Place: Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) ­SPAIN 
 
 
 
1. Youth workers have the key role as facilitators of entrepreneurial learning and multipliers of​ ideas 
to be born. 
2. Youth workers shape learning processes and support students to achieve entrepreneurial learning 
outcomes ­​ nurturing​ concrete knowledge, skills and attitudes. 
3.  Be ​entrepreneurial​! 
 
We believe one of the best ways to address this issue is to nurture ​Youth workers and youth 
leaders​ entrepreneurs by helping them to structure resilient enterprises.  
Our programme offers you a training based on how to support and guide a new 
entrepreneur from the formulation of the idea until the development of the business plan 
taking into account the needs of each enterprise and we provide you with the material of all 
the sessions that accompany the business plan: 8 specific group sessions, dedicated 
workshops and one to one mentoring. 
 
 
The course will address these objectives: 
 
● Understanding the importance of youth entrepreneurship 
 
● Understanding the needs of youth entrepreneurs and trainers. How ​to prepare the 
participants to professionally lead an entrepreneurship course 
 
● Learning how to coordinate and implement entrepreneurial strategy and vision. 
Understanding of tools for facilitating entrepreneurial skills among their participants. 
 
● Learning how to create specific lessons and activities, how  to organise specific group 
session, design exercises ,​teaching guidelines for teaching core entrepreneurial 
competencies, including business modelling, design thinking and business planning. 
 
 
 
 
DAY 1​:
Welcome, Expectations and needs for the course. ​Training material and Entrepreneurial 
Education course material delivery.   
Discussion of general objectives of the course 
Introduction to Entrepreneurial Education 
Managing youth’s expectations about the entrepreneurship course, challenges of 
technology in entrepreneurship. 
Entrepreneurship ​training pathway: Business, Innovation, Experience approach, Skills and 
competences. 
 
DAY 2: 
Innovative and practice­based methods to teach 
Business models; How to develop a business idea 
Canvas business modelling, innovation practices 
 
DAY 3:  
Resilience entrepreneurship,  
Challenges in teaching design thinking 
Visit to Youth Incubator 
 
DAY 4: 
Teaching and practising elevator pitch, creative presentation of business ideas 
Challenges of Marketing online and branding 
 
DAY 5: 
Teaching 8 Group Session and mentoring  
Key learning points, action plan, conclusion
