The Independent Savings Plan Company was established in 1983 and is 100 percent employee-owned. Companies under ISPC have provided a rich retirement plan for their employees that begin with a profit-sharing plan that contributed 15 percent of wages, paid entirely by the company, to each employee on a yearly basis, since 1980. In 2012, the founders sold their shares to the companies and developed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) under a new umbrella company. ISPC has been providing homeowners consumer-friendly loans since its founding.
