STARTUP COHORT 1 Training Modules
at NUML Islamabad
▪ Trainings modules for Cohort-1 of CGI’s Social & creative
Incubation Program began at NUML Islamabad. In April, 2019
Center for Global Innovators in collaboration with B ICON,
conducted 3 Modules at NUML. Each module comprising of two
sessions were delivered in each week. Subject matters covered in
these modules included Leadership, Creative Innovation and
Social Entrepreneurship.
▪ Team CGI visited Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT) in
Lahore to explore potential collaborations for entrepreneurial
endeavors.

COHORT 1 AT NUML
In April, 2019 Center for Global Innovators in collaboration with
B ICON, conducted 3 Modules at NUML. Per Module, two sessions were
conducted per week
Module – 1
Leadership & Soft Skills
Leadership module was organized and delivered with the motive to instill
Growth Mindset amongst the incubatees. The content of the module
focuses on discovering the inner motivations and drivers, self-
management, transition from a manager to a leader, ability to influence
others and an extensive self-development plan. This session was
delivered by Mr. Noshad Minhas, a senior Banker at Silk Bank & an
Intrapreneur.
Module-2
Social Impact
First session on Social Impact included Growth through creativity
leading to a crisis of leadership. This session was delivered by Mr.
Khuram Ellahi, a Philosopher, Thought Leader and Anchor Person.
Social impact has evolved from a pure PR play to an important part of
corporate strategy to protect and create value. It is a trend driven largely
by millennial consumers and enabled by social media tools that have
taken accountability and transparency to new heights In this sesson
incubates were inculcated about the importance of adding value to the
lives of people and the contribution of social enterprises in growing
economies This second session was delivered by Cofounder & CEO of
Moqa Online Mr. Muhammad Mustafa.
Moudle-3:
Creative Innovation
In this session incubates were enlightened how a creative business is
more likely to become innovative. This session was conducted by Ms.
Shehab Farrrukh Naizi. Ms. Niazi is an experienced professional with a
strong background in media & communications.”

COHORT 1 AT LCWU
In April, 2019 Center for Global Innovators in collaboration with ORIC
Lahore College for Women University, conducted 4 Modules at LCWU Per
Module, two sessions were conducted per week
Module-03
“Business Model Design”
The above 2 days module was delivered at LCWU on 22nd April- 23rd April,
2019. The module was conducted by Mr. Sohail Sarwar, Digital Business
transformation Consultant & Trainer. Mr. Imran Jattala, Disruptive
innovation leader & Co-founder of Center for Global Innovators was also
present at LCWU along with Program Manager, Mr. Ahmed Mujtaba
Module-4
Creative Innovation
Innovation provides a culture of creative thinking that enables startups
to think outside the box. This session was delivered by “Prof. Uzair
Ahson,” Trainer & Lecture from GC University, Lahore.
Moudle-5
HCD & Design Thinking
One of the major reasons for startups failures is misalignment between
co-founders over-focus on product and lack of customer empathy. In
this Module the incubatees were inculcated how these risk can be
prevented. The session was conducted by “Mr Sohial Sarwar”, Digital
Business transformation Consultant & Trainer.
In customer discovery the incubatees were enlightened on details of
a ground-up approach to building a new business. The model placed
a simultaneous emphasis on identifying and foresting a specific
customer base before finalizing a product.

Eatoo Special Olympians
Eatoo special Olympians presented their first unified project at Global
Youth Leadership summit during World Games at Abu Dhabi 2019
under the category of Unified Generation. Team Eatoo was invited at
K2 channel as a token of appreciation for their work.
The Rapture Band
The Rapture Band (Sufi Musical Band) has launched a
mesmerizing musical video on terrorism. The fascinating video
titled “Khwaab’ was shared on social media & YouTube channel
and fetched 1000+ likes in first 24 hours.
Papercious
One of our startup Paprecious deals in handmade crafts made from
recycled papers to create employment for the families of martyrs while
managing paper wastes to create environment friendly products.
Paprecious sponsored Art for Peace Competition, IMLC-2019 from 20th
April- 30th April at NUML Club.
Roads Untraveled
Team roads untraveled with the mission to explore the unrevealed beauty
of nature all over the world arranged a 3 days trip of 35 explorers to Saif
ul Malook Lake.
