Fibre glass reinforced plastic (FRP) also known as Glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) is a
composite of fiberglass and plastic or polymer resin that when combined, offer a stronger, more
durable, more corrosion resistant and heat-resistant product than other metals
The process came into its own in the late 1970s, surpassing steel and other metals as
the preferred choice in thousands of applications. And because molds can be designed in any
shape, size, FRP products can be made in virtually any shape and size as well.
Using a mold to create the finished product, fiberglass is generally thermoset with a type of
plastic or epoxy resin. When cured, the end product will hold its shape because of the resin,
while the fiberglass will provide strength and stiffness. This technology has led to increased
durability and strength in hostile and corrosive environments. In FRP there are various types
of resin such as Epoxy resin, Vinyl ester resin, Bisphenol polyester resin, Isophthalic Polyester
Resin, etc. Based on the application of product, we choose correct type of resin. In certain
cases Polypropylene is used as inner liner, when resins are not suitable for such application.

BS4994 (formally: British Standard 4994:1987) is the “specification for the design and construction of vessels and storage tanks in reinforced
plastics”. It specifies a code of practice for use by manufacturers of such containers. With the publication of BS EN 13121-3, BS 4994:1987
Specification for design and construction of vessels and tanks in reinforced plastics is declared obsolescent, which will still cover those tanks
still in service as tanks made from GRP are generally accepted to have a long working life.

For meeting Pollution Control Board norms for outlet emissions we design and manufacture high efficiency equipments for a wide range of
Gases-Fumes-Dusts as well as recovery of these, such as Acid Fumes (HCL, H2SO4, HNO3 etc.), HCL gas-CL2-SO2-NOX-NH3-H2S-Flue gases-

FRP scrubber
Scrubber systems are a diverse group of air pollution control devices that
can be used to remove some particulates and/or gases from industrial
exhaust streams. Traditionally, the term “scrubber” has referred to
pollution control devices that use liquid to wash unwanted pollutants
from a gas stream. Recently, the term is also used to describe systems
that inject a dry reagent or slurry into a dirty exhaust stream to “wash
out” acid gases. Scrubbers are one of the primary devices that control
gaseous emissions, especially acid gases. Scrubbers can also be used for
heat recovery from hot gases by flue-gas condensation.

Blower is a mechanical device for moving air or other gases. It has
a fan wheel composed of a number of fan blades, or ribs, mounted
around a hub. We provide Blowers in Composite and Dual Laminates
to meet the requirement of the client having numerous applications
in Corrosive industries. These Blowers are casing to Impeller with
Dynamically balanced shaft. The impellers are manufactured in
various types like closed, semi open and open depending on the
application. The drive type would be direct orBelt driven. Blower

The Piping and Ducting are manufactured in various sizes ranging
from 15mm dia. to 3000 mm dia. at length of 3000 mm in a single
piece or upto continuous length by butt joint in a Composite or
Dual Laminate.`
Fume Exhaust System
We manufacture and supply a range of fume extraction systems that is
apt for dust all types of fumes. These systems are designed as per
the layout of the plant that are cost effective solutions for providing
dust free, fumes free and clean atmosphere. These systems are simple
in operation.
FRP Damper
A damper is a valve or plate that stops or regulates the flow of air
inside a duct, chimney, VAV box, air handler or other air handling
equipment. Its operation can be manual or automatic. Manual
dampers are turned by a handle on the outside of a duct. Automatic
dampers are used to regulate airflow constantly and are operated
by electric or pneumatic motors, in turn controlled by a thermostat
or building automation system.
FRP Hood
A hood is a ventilation device that is designed to limit exposure to
hazardous or noxious fumes, vapors or dusts. A hood is typically a large
piece of equipment enclosing five sides of a work area, the bottom of
which is most commonly located at a standing work height.

Degassing Systems
Water treatment plants using RO, DM or EDI systems often face resistivity of the outlet water, which occurs due to increased level of carbon
dioxide in the water. Carbon Dioxide present in water may cause frequent regeneration in Ion Exchangers (DM and Water Softener); in addition,
Reverse Osmosis and Electro-deionization Systems (EDI) produce higher quality water if the CO2
has been removed effectively. Therefore, in order
to remove or decrease level of Dissolved Carbon Dioxide (CO2
), Degassifier or Degasser system is used.
Degasser for Demineralisation (DM) Plant
Degasser is an integral part of any demineralization plant, where it is generally placed between cation and anion exchanges and removes Carbon
Dioxide, which is generated by dissociation of carbonic acid at cation outlet water. In this Degassing processes, Degasser Tower is utilized, which
is made from either FRP or Mild Steel with rubber lined or epoxy coating. Low air pressure is generated at the bottom of the tower that drives
out CO2
and the degassed water is collected in a sump beneath the tower.

Moulded Fibre glass grating is manufactured in an open, heated mould system. Continuous
E-glass roving are placed in the mould in alternating layers and completely wetted out with resin.
This continuous process produces an integral, one piece construction which provides excellent
corrosion resistance as well as bidirectional strength. There are a number of different moulds
available resulting in a extensive range of panel sizes, thickness and mesh patterns.
Bluemoon products are lightweight and easy to fabricate. Savings on labour and equipment often
make the total installed cost of Bluemoon products comparable to that of steel. Combining these
installation savings with low maintenance, long life and worker safety, our products offer a life
cycle cost that is significantly lower than that of metallic products.
