MEANING:
EMPOWERMENT AND ENSURING:
Empowerment can be used in the conservative political
rhetoric of freeing the Government of responsibility for injustice and
for granting social security. Instead , the Argument makes individuals
and communities responsible for their own social security welfare
without providing the necessary support and resources[1].

MAKERS
INTROSPECTION:
“WHEREEVER WOMEN IS RESPECTED, GOD RESIDES THERE”
-VEDIC VERSE
• WOMEN ARE DISCRIMINATED IN ALL WALKS OF LIFE.
• WOMEN ARE SUBJECTED,DOMINATED AND EXPLOITED BOTH AT
WORK PLACES AND HOME.
• WOMEN ARE UNREPRESENTED IN DECISION MAKING BODIES.
• WOMENS ARE INSECURE DUE TO:
> SEXUAL HARRASSMENT
> CHILD MARRIAGE
> FEMALE INFANTICIDE
> DOWRY
> ACID ATTACKS
> DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
“THE ORIGIN OF CHILD IS A MOTHER, A WOMAN…….SHE SHOWS A
MAN WHAT SHARING,CARING,AND LOVING IS ALL ABOUT. THAT IS
THE ESSENCE OF A WOMAN.” [2]
-SUSHMITA SEN
PROBLEMS FACING BY WOMEN:
SEXUAL HARASSMENT :
> Among 20-25 women are being raped for every
hour in India which is not only affecting the
future of those women but also it is affecting
on the country India is one among that country
where women are being respected.
Ex: Delhi gang rape case.
INFANTICIDE :
> Due to lack of knowledge of sex there are
chances of getting pregnant at early ages.
They are insisted to get abortion [3].
ACID ATTACK:
> Nowadays it is very difficult to girls to move a
around the city all alone. There are some
boys who always wants girls to be around
them and the moment she starts Ignoring
him or leaving him, he blackmails with acid.
CHILD MARRIAGE
In order to finish up their responsibility especially
the parents of girls are in hurry. They marry their
children at that time when they are supposed to be
getting education. At that age where their thinking
capability is low and they are supposed to be pampered.
Every citizen of INDIA will be getting their voting
power above 18 years where government thinks they
have got maturity and they can make correct decision .
But marriage which is the important turning point of our
life we are not given to take up our own decision or
there are no choices.
DOWRY :
Dowry is the money being given to men for the
Shelter of his own Wife. Who in future will take care of
each and every small happiness And give a complete
life to him and his family.
OBJECTIVES
.In constitution they must provide 50% reservation for
women in all aspects..
PUNISHMENT FOR RAPE IN
DIFFERENT COUNTRIES:
1.UAE: Instant death penalty, within 7 days
hanging.
2.IRAN:Instant stoned to death/hanging
within 24 hours.
3.CHINA:No trial, medically proved rap then death penalty.
4.TALIBAN: Limbs/legs/balls all cut off and then stoned and then shot.
But in INDIA ………
Compromise, Thinking, Trial, Bribe, Rich family kid, abused and
embarrassment NO ACTION even the girl dies still no charge sheet
filed….
Look at these countries and learn something now atleast in case of rape
against child and rape with brutality…
“India is ranked as the world’s most dangerous country for a women by
recent poll”
CONCLUSION :
The empowerment of women has become one of the
most important concerns of 21st century not only at
national level but also in international level. Efforts by
the Government are on to ensure gender equality but
government initiative alone would be sufficient to
achieve this goal.
