procedures / innovation
• Provides education for patients on their treatment
• Up to date knowledge and training for all staff

• I know nothing about research
• It doesn't involve me really
• Does it really make a difference?
• I’m too busy looking after patients

6. How can we embed research into
daily care?
• Work together - Industry, innovation, clinicians,
carers and patients
• Raise Trust-wide awareness of research
• Not exclusive to Clinicians or Academics
• Utilise nursing time spent with patients
