4. Editor’s Note
writer once said, “Any sufficiently advanced
technology is indistinguishable from magic.” He
believed that humans would soar high with the
technological advancement in every sector of human
life that was once considered as pure imagination. For
example, in James Cameron's sci-fi blockbuster of
1984, ‘The Terminator’, the concept of the drone was
shown with the vision of future hunter-killing weapons.
Eventually, this science fiction became a reality over
time.
There are plenty of things that, once considered as
imagination, came into existence as time progressed.
Today, technological advancement is evolving at a
rapid pace. The juggernaut of this advancement has
seen every important aspect of invention, which
changed the direction of progress, may it be the
invention of computers, laptops, mobiles, or even the
emergence of the internet. This journey led to a more
sophisticated world that is welcoming every new day
with a vision of development.
But one question appears very often – what’s next?
Technological inventions always roll over you, and if
TECHNOLOGY
CHANGING
THE DYNAMICS
OF IT WORLD
5. you are not a part of the roller, you will be the portion
of the road. In short, one technology kills its older
version. Hence, when an invention is introduced
globally, the new race is all about its up-gradation. For
instance, the evolution of the internet gave birth to
Information Technology (IT), which changed the
world's landscapes.
Hot topics such as the introduction of programming,
big data, small data, artificial intelligence, machine
learning, and the buzzword of today’s world – cloud
computing, have become inseparable parts of the
present generation. These complex technologies deal
with excess data sets to improve productivity with
greater efficiency.
However, real-time management and monitoring of
such a vast data-set is challenging for businesses.
Hence, they need a viable infrastructure management
platform to operate all these tasks in a precise way.
Many people relate the word ‘infrastructure’ to civil,
military, or public projects. But in the IT space, it is an
umbrella term that encompasses everything that
supports the management and usability of data and
information.
Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) assist
companies to avoid the difficulties of downtime by
ensuring that all of their important components are up
and running every day. In simple words, if a business is
considered as a stage show, IMS platforms would be
‘behind the scenes’ individuals who maintain a smooth
and streamlined workflow. Hence, many successful
companies were established to deliver their IMS
solutions for the IT industry.
In our quest to find these successful companies, we at
Insights Success bring you our new edition, ‘The Most
Reliable AIOps based Infrastructure Management
Service Providers, 2021’. Browse through the pages of
this edition to know the nuances of IMS platforms. I
hope reading this edition will inspire you to enhance
your technical knowledge. Who knows if the next big
name on the inventor's list could be yours!

A CIO at a hospital would like to
measure and improve the productivity
of their employees by making the
systems perform reliably all the time. A
CXO of a Telecom company would

making the service more reliable. All
organizations would like to measure

prevent outages. The technique of
‘early detection’ is based on the
domain (IT infrastructure) knowledge
and the powerful AI programs written
with the guidance from IIT Madras.
Steering the Ship Forward
S Chandra Mouleswaran, SVP – IT
Infrastructure Management Practice
at GAVS Technologies, is a passionate
lateral thinker. He has 30+ years of
experience in IT infrastructure
operations and practices, primarily in
the IT/ITES sector. He started his
career as an electronics engineer
repairing battery chargers.
That experience took him to repair
power supplies of computers in a
construction company during the early
stages of IT evolution in 1990s. It
made him repair computers, assemble
computers, set up networks, learn OS,
and become part of Infrastructure
design and management. "That is how,
I was driven towards IT infra
management," says Chandra.
He then worked as a Network engineer,
then a system integrator, before
becoming a CXO in 2000. Some of his
notable attempted innovations include
Automated Pressure tester in the early
80s, battery operated power supplies
for computers, DRAM-based Unix file
systems, locally cached data for VSAT
communication to reduce latency,
Software Vending Machine,
MobileDesk, Advanced Command
Interface - a mistake-proofing
application (Patented) and Zero
TM
Incident Framework .
Since he entered this field in 1990,
everything Chandra did or was
required to do was for the first time.
Thanks to the opportunities, he was
part of many firsts – first to install
TCP/IP for Network communications,
first to deploy VSATS for WAN
communications, etc. "There were no
SOPs for many things. There were no
WANs, but we had to support remote
sites – Kevadia in Gujarat, Rewa in
MP, Chamera in HP, Lakhwar in
Uttarakhand," shares Chandra. “There
were no skilled IT engineers at remote
sites to help troubleshoot and expedite
resolution. Around the late 90s,
network bandwidth was a challenge.
Even audio conferences used to have
troubles. There were no standards or
benchmarks for anything”, added
Chandra.
In partnership with
some top technology
organizations and
academia, we provide
best-in-class solutions
and high quality
services to healthcare
organizations.
Words of Glory

17. The Most Reliable AIOps based Infrastructure Management Service Providers | 2021
The insurance business is
undergoing enormous changes.
These developments are being
driven by insurtech enterprises that are
upping the ante by pushing innovation
via the use of technologies such as
Blockchain, Machine Learning, AI,
and cloud computing.
These technologies are replacing the
traditional software and manual-driven
procedures that were previously used
to construct and administer the
insurance industry. Furthermore, as
business models evolve, insurance
firms are utilising digital technologies
to extend their operations and build
product lines based on consumer
needs, which contribute to market
growth. One such company that
contributes to market growth is
Artivatic Data Labs.
While in search for The Most Reliable
AIOps based Infrastructure
Management Service Providers, we
came to know about Artivatic Data
Labs. Below are the highlights of the
interview.
Describe us about Artivatic in detail.
We are a global risk and decision-
making platform that automates human
decisions in insurance and healthcare
to provide efficiency, transparency, risk
assessment, personalization, and
digitization in the entire lifecycle of
operations.
The platform uses deep machine
learning and proprietary algorithms to
offer insurance and healthcare
solutions. We use solutions like
innovative risk underwriting,
alternative data insights, real-time
personalized product offering, and
automated onboarding, claims
automation, sales, and distribution,
self-branch servicing, customer 360,
wisdom, and analytics.
We empower insurance and healthcare
businesses and developers to re-
imagine insurance and health products
for the following billion users.
Artivatic is continually developing a
low-cost, modular API infrastructure
so that insurance companies/hospitals
can go online in days, not months.
Artivatic is transforming legacy,
traditional, complex, and ‘one size fits
all’ into personalized, digital, instant,
risk-based, new age insurtech. This
touches human lives, understand their
need, use data to provide them better,
need-based products instantly using
technology. We aim to provide
personalized insurance products based
on customer goals/needs under 60
seconds using data, technology, and
process.
What made you venture into the
infrastructure management services
sector?
Artivatic was born after our last
startup, COGXIO, and DateIITians. We
took into consideration all learning,
research, process, and understanding of
our new product, which was a
complete B2B AI Platform focused on
cross-industry intelligence in real-time,
and we launched it in 2018.
We had multiple brainstorming
sessions to understand Artivatic in
depth, which took almost three months
for all of us to decide- what was
Artivatic, how to build further, who
will be building Artivatic, and where
we were aligning our visions for the
future.
After countless efforts, we finally saw
some ray of hope when HCL and
Capgemini, like large enterprises,
showed interest in partnering with
Artivatic. We demonstrated our
technologies and capabilities to solve
these businesses’ problems by
partnering with them. So far, it has
been one of the biggest pleasant and
motivating moments in the Artivatic
journey.
What kind of offerings do you
provide to your clients?
We at Artivatic.ai are building next-gen
insurance products and solutions to
simplify risk assessment, process
automation, and digital use to enable
access to insurance with our
technology-driven innovations. We are
changing historical insurance into
something digital, customised, and
customer-centric while keeping our
clients’ budgets in mind. We leverage
AI and Machine Learning in our
platforms and integrate the same to
simplify in the extremely archaic and
manual industry to increase the number
of insurance policyholders in the long
run.
Artivatic has launched various
platforms in the recent past to

What kind of challenges have you
faced while entering the
infrastructure management services
sector?
Artivatic’s journey has been a roller
coaster for the last two years. However,
the entire roadmap was truly inspiring
during the initial stage.
We indeed faced various challenges in
the adjacent stage of development like
building a new team, financial crunch,
working without salary, living in an
office to save costs, getting our ideas
rejected by various investors, and
much more. The entire team of
Artivatic underwent great learning in
the first year. Then in the second year,
we were finally able to launch our first
version of the product. This gave a
boost of confidence and motivation to
all of us to go ahead further with the
innovation.
In the later stage, we also partnered
with Zomato, Dineout, and ClearTrip
to test our technologies. Soon, we will
validate our technologies and business
model by 2019.
In a nutshell, with the constant support
of our customers, investors, and the
team members' belief, we can achieve
our initial goals.
Artivatic aims to provide personalized
insurance products based on customer
goals/needs under 60 seconds using
data, technology, and process.
How was your firm/business affected
during the pandemic, and what were
the steps you took to curb the
damages while helping your clients
and maintaining the safety of your
employees?
Unlike another business sector, Covid-
19 has been impacted Artivatic in
positive ways. Pandemic has allowed
us to provide our innovative digital
solutions effectively. It has also created
more demand in the insurance and
health care sector as everyone needs
financial protection. Legacy businesses
need to have a digital transformation to
survive, and hence the pandemic has
appeared as a boom.
The mission is to build full-
stack Insurtech technology
platform for masses

• Artivatic suggests that Insurance
companies must enable remote
distribution via way of integrating
video, speech-based technologies
with integrated OCR/ICR
processes so that the entire journey
can be automated, digital, and
isolated.
What would you like to advice the
young generation of entrepreneurs
and enthusiasts who want to venture
into the infrastructure management
services sector?
It is essential to believe in yourself and
your dreams. As Henry Ford famously
said, “Whether you think you can, or
think you can’t, you’re right.” Believe
that you can succeed, and you’ll find
ways through different obstacles. If
you don’t, you’ll just find excuses. An
entrepreneur has a vision for
something and a desire to create it.
Keep your eye clear at all times. You
can’t achieve success overnight. You
have to persevere and don’t be afraid to
invest time in your company. If you
look closely, most overnight successes
took a long time to become what they
are today.
Where do you envision your
firm/business in the long run, and
what are your future goals? How do
you plan to embrace the changes
happening in your industry?
Artivatic was started in early 2018 and
was operational in late 2018. We are
now moving to next phase of growth
for health network, health benefits, and
building personalized insurance
systems, risk systems, and automation
using technology.
What is the current industrial
scenario of the infrastructure
management services sector?
The insurance sector is moving from
processes to tech driven, and software
focused. The ‘legacy software, manual
driven processes’ way of building and
running the insurance business is no
longer viable for the present’ on-
demand, need based’ world. Here are
the reasons why!
1. Businesses find it challenging to
have the right technology that can
reduce cost, increase efficiency,
and reduce risk.
2. No Personalized risk assessment,
premium, and coverages. Lack of
data driven decisions.
3. Buying the right, personalized
insurance is a challenge for
1. employees, SMEs.
2. Distributors, Insurance, and
Brokers finds it difficult to easily
integrate and sell insurance.
3. Non-traditional
distributors/Brokers are finding it
challenging to integrate and sell
insurance.
4. SME/Businesses are finding it
challenging to buy personalized
insurance for liability/indemnity
and employee health.
5. Insurance backend is legacy and
outdated and need new age
process for risk assessment,
underwriting, claims, and
distribution.
6. This entire insurance ecosystem
needs a new ‘OPERATING
SYSTEM’ to run on, and that is
INSURTECH.
7. Insurtech solutions help insurers in
improving the value chain at every
stage. The emerging technologies
allow in addressing customer
demands, create efficiencies and
reduce costs in the insurance
industry.
8. To summarize, Insurtech is
revolutionizing insurance by
providing customers and service
providers a seamless, error-free,
and safe way to operate the
business.
9. According to a study, Global
Insurtech Market revenue is
valued at 5.48 billion in 2019 and
is expected to reach 10.14 billion
by 2025, growing at a CAGR of
10.80% during the period 2019-

21. Concurrent Digital Transformation
comprises of Cloud, Containers
(Machine Independent code packages),
and DevOps (Combo of Development
& IT Operational Teams). It is a
strategic shift from a Centralized to
Multi-layered Infrastructure
Management.
A multi-layered infrastructure
management encompasses ever-
updating applications and their
developers, rapidly evolving
innovations, and deployments, and the
acquiring of brand-new digital users
like Machine Agents, Application
Programming Interface (APIs), Internet
of Things (IoT), etc.
Earlier companies did not have to
provide service to all these new players
and technologies, which are putting a
lot of pressure on traditional
Infrastructure, Performance and
Service management tools and
his is an era of mass digital
Ttransformation. And the rules
for survival, winning and
success have changed. It is not always
the biggest or strongest companies that
survive, thrive, and succeed but the
ones who are quickest to adapt to
change.
Today’s global market demands agility
and speed. To achieve these qualities
companies are increasingly depending
on the technological developments and
digital transformation.
So, the role of Infrastructure
Management companies is becoming
cumbersome due to the increasing
number of applications developed,
more technologies created, more
infrastructure utilized, and an ever-
ballooning volume of data is being
generated. This is leading to an ever-
expanding digital transformation.

22. strategies, straining them to a breaking
point. This issue needed a momentous
change in how companies reform,
restructure and manage their IT
Operations or ITOps procedures and IT
ecosystem Management.
The evolving platforms were a
changed perspective in that direction.
This paradigm shift in the digital
transformation gave rise to a new
concept in ITOps, The AIOps, short for
Artificial Intelligence or AI for IT
operations.
AIOps: The Strategic Shift
A seismic but not the radical concept,
AIOps has been designed to address
such issues as IT Complexity (due to
exceeding scale of data and
information which is manually
unmanageable), performance
monitoring of larger numbers of alerts
and events, increasing user
expectations about ease and speed of
access to the services, and ever-
expanding networks.
At its core, AIOps provides
intelligence (read AI and ML) to your
vast amount of data and then integrate
this intelligence into the platform to
solve all the above listed issues. It
creates a structure from three quite
common aspects of traditional ITOps,
that is, Observation, Engagement and
Action, and by combining them,
provides major benefits such as the
fastest resolution of ITOps issues,
faster adoption of evolving tech
procedures, more proactive and better
decision making.
#StrategicObservation: Performance
Monitoring
The strategic aim of continuous
observation across the ITOps
ecosystem is to maintain a stable
platform to identify the issues as they
come and tackle them before they
severely disrupt the system.
Performance monitoring was a part of
IT from the beginning, to constantly
check the operational system and
engage and act whenever any deviation
occurs.
This function is improvised by AIOps,
which applies ML to the huge volume
of data (including array of logs,
metrics, and topology data) across all
the data centers, clouds, and endpoints.
It creates a visual, query-based, real-
time response mechanism and
historical data reviewing tool through
Dashboards and API Calls. This use of
ML enables quick anomaly detection,
spotting correlation across ecosystems,
and contextualizing issues for instant
correction.
#StrategicEngagement: Service
Management
Traditional IT Service Management
encompasses complete lifecycle of IT
services. The lifecycle includes all the
stages from designing (planning),
creating (developing), delivering
(providing), supporting (maintaining),
to managing the service/s.
So, you must integrate the AIOps
equipped IT service management
platform in your company. It will make
sure that the future occurrence of
events, incidents, dependencies, and
changes in the environment will be
attuned to company’s present and
future service management models.
This will guarantee of your platform’s
simplicity, agility, and adaptivity in the
long term.
In modern IT environments, AIOps
becomes that foundational
infrastructural backbone which
integrates advance communication
strategy into the company’s entire
workflow (from dashboards and logs to
contextual views) for real-time sharing
and instant decision making.
#StrtegicAction: Automation
Giving you all the intelligent inputs is
ML’s task. But you need to act fast on
the received input, otherwise it will all
go waste. Here, Automation in the
form of AI comes to your aid. This part
of AIOps focuses on the automated
issue redressal, continuous
technological streamlining, and
customization of responses to the
typical issues. Often, Automation’s
benefits are leveraged in IT’s services
but not in operational tasks. That
scenario is changing with AIOps.
Infrastructure Management:
Strategic Outlook
By strategizing your AIOps according
to your company’s requirement, you
can make your system intelligent,
automated, analytical, and compatible
to the technological advancement.
It will help you quickly detect the root
cause of failure, real-time problem
solving on a platform with embedded
automation capabilities and a dynamic,
automated, integrated, and uniform
system to enhance company’s service
delivery performance.
These benefits make AIOps your
perfect partner in transforming your
business strategy and tuning it with
success.

Technologies
Leveraging Technology and Providing Exceptional
Solutions for Businesses
Most firms today have
implemented or are in the
process of adopting
technologies to keep up with the
quickly changing technological
landscape, thanks to rapid digital
transformation. New technologies and
solutions, such as hybrid or multi-
cloud architecture, raise complexities
and put old IT strategies to the test,
which may no longer be capable of
dealing with the difficulties resulting
from digital transformation. The sheer
volume of data created nowadays
makes it challenging for teams to make
optimal use of it.

What made you venture into the
AIops sector?
We ventured into AIOps because it
provides the necessary firepower to
organizations to support their
aspirations in data, cloud, AI/ML
verticals. By continuous algorithmic
monitoring and intelligent analysis of
IT infrastructure in real-time, a big
chunk of operations-focused processes
gets automated, and human
intervention is required only for high-
priority business-critical tasks. This
helps enterprises build resilience, build
efficient automated processes, optimize
revenue channels, and tap into the
power of automation to scale their
business.
What kind of offerings do you
provide to your clients?
We enable organisations to build
solutions that provide greater visibility
into your on-premises infrastructure
and cloud infra as well. AIOps
solutions help you assess threats,
vulnerabilities, risks, and their impact
on business-critical apps in real-time.
On a high level, our AIOps offerings
are targeted at - IT Ops management,
Software asset management, and IT

27. The Dynamic Duo
Abhijith is the CEO and Founder of Codewave Technologies. He is a
technology director who assists organizations in thriving in the age
of design, technology, and agile hyperness. Over the last ten years,
he has assisted over 100 businesses in architecting and
implementing 'speed at scale' technical solutions. He has extensive
experience working with hundreds of visionary executives from
various sectors, as well as 140+ highly skilled engineers, designers,
and consultants at Codewave.
But this was not something he expected to accomplish with his life.
He used to be a scientific nerd who enjoyed playing guitar and
playing PS3. Soon after meeting his girlfriend, he decided to follow
his passion for coding by launching a firm.
Vidhya and Abhijith founded 'Codewave' in 2013, a design-led
digital transformation firm that also created its own culture.
Since then, the Codewave team has produced 300+ digital
solutions and assisted 100s of organizations with varied levels of
digital integration—aspiring, progressing, and plateauing.
The unique selling point of Codewave is its ability to cut through
the noise and get to the signal. Codewavers assist businesses in
unlocking and optimizing growth channels by identifying:
i. What is worth deleting now.
ii. What should be built from scratch, and what should be
modernized/renovated.
Abhijith HK

i. Intelligently monitor cloud
infrastructure
ii. Eliminate noise from alerts, and
focus on critical risks
iii. Anticipate, identify, and fix threats

What kind of challenges have you
faced while entering the
infrastructure management services
sector?
Building unified solutions and
educating/training the client's team
about how things would function in the
AIOps led IT infrastructure is
challenging.

28. Embracing automated ITOps, and
getting comfortable with the cultural
transformation, which is inevitable as
soon as an organization steps into AI-
led digital transformation, will take
some time.
Interoperability with existing
tools/platforms/services is another
challenge for the AIOps community.
How was your firm/business affected
during the pandemic, and what were
the steps you took to curb the
damages while helping your clients
and maintaining the safety of your
employees?
Early 2020 was a time of great
uncertainty for everyone in the world,
not just the Codewave. We went
remote as soon as we realized there
was a threat. It was challenging to
adjust to the new normal. We were
quite robust and rapidly acclimated to
the isolated circumstances, owing to
our culture. Our internal project
collaboration tools, Timely and Peerly,
proved to be really useful. In reality,
we are now a hybrid organization.
Following the pandemic, a large
number of individuals continue to
work remotely.
Everything went smoothly for the
clients. There are no escalations.
Because all of our products are
designed on the cloud, there were few
operational issues.
Finally, hiring and onboarding new
members became more difficult. But,
with time, we've mastered this as well.
What would you like to advise the
young generation of entrepreneurs
and enthusiasts who want to venture
into the AIOps sector?
While building AIOps solutions, build
multiple models. A forest is better than
a giant tree while building models. A
forest of the giant tree is good as well.
Also, the data you feed to models is
highly critical to the final outcome
enterprises will see. So, make sure the
data is of high quality. Lastly, don't
build highly complex applications on
the first attempt.
In the long run, where do you
envision Codewave Technologies to
be in the long run, and what are
your future goals? How do you plan
to embrace the changes happening in
the AIOps sector?
This year we have hit USD 1M+ in
ARR, and we continue to grow
sustainably. We are always at the
forefront when it comes to flirting with
new technologies, and the long-term
goals are to continue doing the same
while we build highly scalable digital
solutions for our partners and the most
democratic, self-managed, social
workplace in the world.
What is the current industrial
scenario of the infrastructure
management services sector?
AIOps market is estimated to grow at a
healthy CAGR of 21%, and soon it will
be a USD 40 Billion industry. We
expect to see an increase in AIOps
tools built to handle multiple data types
and are made for various use cases in
the coming years. The focus on AIOps
powered remote work, AIOps powered
security, and preventative remediation
would also see good growth.

31. he COVID-19 pandemic
Tbrought the growth and
development of the world to a
standstill. From a commercial
perspective, it became hard for the
consumer and the businesses to run
smoothly. One industry that was
equally impacted by the pandemic was
the infrastructural space.
Almost every company, before the start
of the pandemic, had already laid down
the roadmap for the future. The
unprecedented roadblocks impacted
the business effectiveness.
Let’s look at the challenges imposed by
DECEMBER 2021 | 29 | www.insightssuccess.in
32. the pandemic on the infrastructure
management services sector for IT and
other companies.
Remote support for employees
Businesses took all the necessary
measures to protect their employees.
Since the doors to offices were closed,
everyone was forced to work remotely.
This sudden change in the
infrastructure was a challenge for
many organisations. Since the
companies did not have adequate time
to even prepare for this shift, it affected
the code of conduct of businesses.
Since the digital world made working
easy for many, the remote shift made it
difficult for companies. The COVID-
19 pandemic affected the productivity
of the employees and the lack of
required online tools and resources
made it pose an even difficult
challenge.
While some of the IT organisations-
maintained connectivity and easiness
in working for a remote workforce,
some organisations suffered to
maintain connectivity in the workforce.
This adaption to the shift was not only
a time taking process, but it also
affected the business operations
adversely affecting the industry.
Vulnerable Security
Every business knows the importance
of data and security. Since the business
operations were now conducted
outside; the flow of data was now not
under the supervision of the
organisation. Security risks like data
exposure and loss were additionally
added. The phishing and malware
threats increased with a substantial rate
of security incidents.
The challenges that businesses faced
was to ensure data safety and endpoint
security. This forced the organisations
to not only redesign the security
policies but also ensure the employees
of secure access to the data.
As the pandemic and its impacts
ascended, work from home culture
gained extreme popularity. On the
other hand, the incidents of cyber
security raised significantly. The data
of many organisations were not much
secure and with remote access, it made
the security of many organisations
vulnerable for the world.
Increasing Demand
COVID-19 outbreak restricted people
to their houses, which gave time and
access to digital needs. The surge of
new and constant traffic was seen
across various platforms. This created
the need for shifting of stable
infrastructure to maintain the smooth
flowing in businesses. The flexibility of
the IT Industries allowed the smooth
flowing of data but the sudden surge in
traffic caused a lot of problems for the
organisations.
The remote infrastructure lacked the
capacity of critical applications.
Maintaining flexible on-demand
provision is important for every
business, which was again affected due
to the pandemic. This made it difficult
for businesses to keep up with the
increasing demand from all over the
world, across various industries.
Active Availability
The increase in demand and sudden
surge in traffic forced the companies to
be active all the time for the smooth
flowing of business. Network
availability along with necessary
means like transactional systems and
critical applications became the code
of conduct for many organisations.
Many businesses that could keep up
with this code of conduct, saw a dip in
traffic with time affecting the business.
Monitoring and Performance Check
The best part about the business
infrastructure is the smooth
management system, which allows the
authorities to proactively monitor the
employees. The remote system limited
monitoring along with integrations and
other tools affecting the performance
of the organisation. Along with that,
the performance check factor made it
even difficult for the organisation to
track, detect and solve the problem in
the system.
The limited resources posed a major
challenge in reviewing the health of IT
infrastructure health and performance.
The struggle with identifying and
resolving the problem affected the end-
user experience, resulting in a decrease
in brand value. Though few
organisations with efforts made it big
even at tough times.
The COVID-19 pandemic imposed
many challenges for everyone. The
sudden change in infrastructure
management made it difficult to
conduct business smoothly. This also
affected the finances of the
organisations. From delivering
required business needs to hiring
affected accounts, putting up again a
challenge for the infrastructure
management services sector.

36. the product’s lifecycle is also getting
more mature. This will empower every
entrepreneur for their decision-making
process in the real world.
Where do you envision your
firm/business to be in the long run,
and what are your future goals?
How do you plan to embrace the
changes happening in your industry?
We are currently a team of only 100
people working on our in-house
products and services products. We
have been ranking highly only in the
Indian market. We are coming with a
new office in Singapore and Dubai to
cater gulf and Asia market.
However, we would like to be the one-
stop solution for all the IT needs. We
are investing in our in-house products
as well to capture the B2C market, and
our product is currently at a valuation
of around Rs 500 Cr.
How can AI help in shaping
products' future and decision-
making process?
Decision-making in earlier days used
to be predictive and without sufficient
data to support the theory. With
Artificial Intelligence getting more
powerful and data being the key
supporter for each analysis, decision-
making is getting easier.
Every product goes through multiple
stages of the research and development
process. In each and every step,
entrepreneur or product owners need to
thoroughly check on every aspect and
take careful decisions. Artificial
Intelligence can help get the facts right
and make an accurate decision.
Today the world has many tools to
work on AI, and most of it are
customized based on the client’s needs.
We have been working on AI for so
long now that we can customize AI as
per the client’s needs. Some of our
products have already raised successful
investment.
How was your firm/business affected
during the pandemic, and what were
the steps were taken by you to curb
the damages, all the while helping
your clients and maintaining the
safety of your employees?
During and post-pandemic has been
very interesting and influential for our
company. We have been working on
very complex and challenging products
in the market to serve our clients.
Interestingly for our business pandemic
has been supportive, and work timings
and productivity has increased during a
pandemic. Most of our team members
still work from home and are double
vaccinated. We provide good insurance
support for the team to maintain their
work-life balance.
What would you like to advise the
young generation of entrepreneurs
and enthusiasts who want to venture
into Artificial Intelligence for the IT
sector?
Artificial intelligence is playing a vital
role in today’s generation, and
everyone is looking for data-based
analysis and reports for working on
their existing or new products. Every
product needs to address a few basic
questions. Most of the industry leaders
have also been talking about working
on a few important questions like why?
What problem are you solving? What
analysis has been done?
Transparency is the most critical aspect
of every product, with AI getting
matured day by day, transparency in
customers have been with us for more
than two years.
Our clients wanted us to develop the
AI-based analysis postproduction of
the App. That is how we ventured into
AI. Today most of our products or
clients are looking for AI-based
services along with ML for their IT
operations. This can help them analyze
and invest in their product rightfully
with more profits.
What kind of offerings do you
provide to your clients?
We started a small startup with just five
developers working on minimal
technology services.
Our team size is now around 100
people with different skillsets
supporting the client products from
various domains and industries.
Post pandemic era has been fascinating
for Hashtaag, with multiple enquiries
having different challenging product
requirements.
Our dedicated services like IoT,
Artificial Intelligence, Data Science,
Machine learning, Backend, and SaaS
Mobile Application development are
highly in demand. Clients have started
to demand the quickest solutions,
driven by prediction, intelligence,
insights, analytics, etc., that help make
their business operations more
accessible than before.
What kind of challenges have you
faced while entering the Artificial
Intelligence for IT Operations
services sector?
Initially, there were not many
developers in the market who knew AI.
We started hiring people who had good
knowledge of statistics and technology.
Not many tools or sdks, or API were
available initially.
