Alysse Nockels joined Intel through the McAfee acquisition and has 15 years of
experience working in information technology. She is responsible for all aspects of the
competitive intelligence function across Intel’s security portfolio and systematically built the
McAfee competitive intelligence function from the ground-up. Prior to joining Intel, Alysse
held system engineer, security engineer, and positioning-to-win roles at Lockheed Martin.
Alysse has a master's degree in Information Technology and a bachelor's degree in
Telecommunication Systems. She is the current Chair of the Strategic and Competitive
Intelligence (SCIP) Board of Directors, earned her CI Professional II certification, and obtained
Product Management certification from Pragmatic Marketing. Alysse resides in Prescott,
Wisconsin with her husband Karl and Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, is an avid Green Bay
Packers fan and isn't afraid to wear a cheesehead in public!

Phil Britton is Manager of Competitive and Market Insights for Ulta
Beauty. Phil has been engaged in retail competitive intelligence since 2001. He
has established and evolved competitive intelligence functions with teams from
1 to 50 people. His areas of specialization include pricing, competitive
research, competitive analytics, competitive intelligence ethics, and social
media use in competitive intelligence. Phil is a noted speaker at competitive
intelligence topics, and has been asked to speak and facilitate at CI events in
multiple countries on topics including ethics, establishing CI teams, leveraging
social media content in competitive intelligence, and benchmarking
competitive intelligence functions. He is a member of SCIP.
