Does your first slide clearly show the topic of the presentation?
Does your second slide give an outline of your presentation?
Does each slide only contain one topic?
Does each slide have the most important point first?
Are the points spread evenly over each slide?
Have you checked each slide for spelling mistakes?
Have you checked that the punctuation is correct on each slide? For example, full
stops, commas, brackets and question marks.
Have you checked each slide for grammatical errors?
Are your slides free from distracting images, pictures and video clips?
Do your slides follow the order detailed in the outline slide (slide 2)?
Have you included a conclusion?
Have you included a reference list as your last slide?
Are references correct according to the Harvard referencing system?
Are your slides consistent throughout the PowerPoint?
Do your slides complement your presentation?
If you have answered ‘No’ to any of these questions you must review and amend your slides.
