1. BBFC No-one younger than 15 may see a ‘15’ film in a cinema. No-one younger than 15 may rent or buy a ‘15’ rated video work. We decided to make our film a 15 as it doesn’t have any graphic scenes of violence or horror like an 18 rated movie however the use of suspense and scary/freaky situations may scare or freak some people out. Suitable only for 15 years or over
2. Released Date : 16 April 2004 ( UK ) Directors : Eric Bress, J. Mackye Gruber Released Date: 15 December 2006 (UK) Director: Tony Scott Released Date: 1 April 2011 (UK) Director : Duncan Jones All of these films are rated 15 or 12A and also include a character going back in time to try and save themselves or someone/something else.
3. Locations This is an example shot of the dark room where our character will be looking for her stalker. We wanted the strong contrast of the bright computer light with her dark surroundings.
4. Trellick tower We wanted to use a tower so we could create a effective birds eye view shot looking down at our character
6. Music is an important part in any film. This is essentially because different types of music can make the audience feel different emotions and therefore can tell which genre the film could be. As our genre is a thriller/crime/indie film the conventions of the soundtrack need to fit in to these genres in order to make the audience relate to the characters emotions in the film as well as know what the genre is. Why is music important?
7. Tracks http://soundcloud.com/scary/scary-hadouken http://soundcloud.com/kneproductions/scary-cue http://soundcloud.com/alienrodeo/atmospheric-scary-music All of these tracks have an eerie feel to them which is good for the thriller genre and could be used when the character is walking down the street and we see she is being followed. It creates suspense and will make the audience question what is next. http://soundcloud.com/hitciti/sets/scary This track is quite fast paced in the middle of it which is perfect for the main character when she is frantically searching for who is following her and tormenting her. http://soundcloud.com/uva_back/scary-laugh This is a really good soundtrack to use when we see the Main character being tormented by the videos and pictures on her phone. The laugh shows how she is being mocked and how she is suffering.
