ABOUT ME
My name is Isaura Guillen and I am currently a senior at the California State Polytechnic
University of Pomona. I am an Apparel Merchandising & Management Major with an
emphasis in Retail. After I graduate in Fall, I hope to find a job in the marketing and
merchandising field. My career goals are to be a buyer or Product Development
Manager for an ethical and conscious fashion brand. I have previously completed
fashion internships to gain knowledge and experience in the industry. I have completed
a Public Relations Internship with Infinity Creative Agency in Los Angeles and have
volunteered as a guest relations intern for the annual Los Angeles Union Station Fashion
Show. Along with these internships I have 5 years of retail and sales experience and 2
years of Retail Management experience. I have an intense passion for the ethical and
sustainable apparel industry and look forward to expanding my knowledge after
graduation.

DEELUX: BUY, SELL, TRADE
DeeLux: Buy, Sell, Trade is a brick and mortar retail shop that
sells new and used merchandise. Merchandise assortment
includes: clothing, shoes, accessories and some novelty and gift
items. This shop also buys items on consignment for 35% in
cash of the set retail price. 
As senior buyer some creative work included curating seasonal
buying guides for customers and employees. Each guide
differed in season, style and price range. Along with buying
guides came creating creative calendars for upcoming seasons.

In addition to being Senior Buyer, I also worked along side our
social media to create content. Duties included but were not
limited to: updating website with current buying guides and any
additional information, posting weekly on social media
outlets,Instagram, with company hours and other store updates,
posting stories featuring customers and analyzing marketing
content to better brand DeeLux.

BRANDING
WILD CHERRY WARDROBE
The Wild Cherry Wardrobe is contemporary womens fashion brand based in the heart
of Los Angeles. WWW is for the modern LA women who is sensual and ready to show
her inner and outer beauty. While working with the brand, I was asked to create a
brand logo that could be featured on their Shopify website. Below are inspirations I
took from the current collection color story and overall target market. The design was
made using Adobe Illustrator.
About: This woman loves the good things in life.
She is very confident in herself and the
empire she has built around her. She
enjoys spending time at the newest
restaurant whether it be with her friends
or her lover, she is sure to splurge and
pamper anyone in her circle. She is not
worried about money as her income is
well balanced. She has no kids which m
eans she has all the time to exercise,
shop or plan her next weekend getaway.
