Adieu cher frères militaires,

The land we call our own, we swear;
The home of the brave,

You’re noble, proud and
We vow to fight, protect great,
our land, Gisenia, Gisenia
In close brotherly love, Forever will our star spangled
By lightning that destroys, banner
By streams of generous
blood; Wave.
Notes de l'éditeur
The name of our country is Gisenia. It is a little pentagon shaped landlocked country located in Western Africa. It shares borders with Mauritania in the North, Senegal in the West, and Mali in the South East.
Languages spoken in the country are French and English and it is one of the many Francophone countries in the continent.
The government system of the country is Oligarchy. An Oligarchy is a group of wealthy people ruling the country, one of whom is selected to be the King. The members of the oligarchy will be selected based on the amount of land and money they have. The King will be elected by the group itself. They will determine their leader based on who is the wealthiest. His two prime ministers, who act as his advisors will be the people who rank second and third in terms of wealth. The remaining oligarchy members’ roles will be decided based on drawing of lots. There are different positions like leader of the religious people, leader of military, leader of peasants, etc.
The oligarchy currently ruling the country is called the Council of Aristrocrats, which consists of King Edward Stinson III, who is the wealthiest by family inheritance, the two PMs, Jaque Mosby and Thomas Chamberlain, the 7 remaining council members, Joseph Chamberlain, James Edmund, Henry Ausculter, Françoise Cardin and Pierre Smith.
Monthly meetings are held amongst the council of aristrocrats, in which they will discuss various issues and concerns, appoint somebody to deal with things and decide on actions to take. The council comes up with laws and presents them to the king, who then has complete power over them (whether to accept or to not accept) and finalizes them. Government officers (heads of different social groups – military, nobles, religious groups, peasants) can propose an amendment to an existing law or make a new law based on their observation of the public.
There is a huge list of laws enforced by the government. Some of the important ones include:- One. Ghada: The laws are essentially enforced by the police and the military. Everything is strictly controlled with harsh punishments that are imposed on those who break the laws. Punishments range from jail time to deportment (immigrants), and from hanging to beheading.
The number one priority for the government is the needs of the country – expansion and security. The needs of the higher-class citizens are considered while performing operations related to this goal, but in order to achieve the goals successfully, rights and needs of the lower working classes/peasants are not given much priority. For example, slums and other unimportant buildings are taken down in order to construct vital facilities.
Sana: Nevertheless, the military will take each and every precaution required within the boundaries of the country, to ensure that the country is protected. If any suspicious activity is seen, the person of interest will be taken for questioning by the local police branch of the military. However, a restriction of the military will be that firing at mobs or at protestors is only done on order of the king.
The mission statement of the country is to create a more secure, prosperous and fast developing world for the benefit of the Gisenian people and the international community living in Gisenia.
The country has a stable economy at the moment because of its vast oil and natural gas reserves. Though most of the money received from such industries along with tax is spent on the military (to have a powerful army when it comes to expanding through conquest), about 20% of the money received annually is spent on developing the economy by spending on medical care, education, and other facilities that will ensure a bright economic future. This is the country’s flag. The navy blue color represents truth and loyalty, while the golden in the stars signifies power and superiority.
