 Supervising the OP,IP& Dental claims Submissions and Resubmissions
 To manage front line Insurance office by providing current and upgraded
information on changing policies and procedures to patient services staff,
also assist patient in their day to day needs related to insurance information &

 Verification and submission of OP & IP Claims
 Coordination with Insurance Companies for new contract and new policies or all
other update information regarding the insurance issues.
 Providing Insurance Training for all new employees.
Job Description
1. To manage front line Insurance office by providing current and upgraded
information on changing policies and procedures to patient services staff, also
assist patient in their day to day needs related to insurance information & cards
and approvals.
2. Possess updated knowledge related to various insurance companies’
policies/plans, benefits, coverage, exclusions and other such information from
time to time.
3. Provide regular training to the staff involved in revenue cycle management; front
desk/reception, doctors, nurses, secretaries, coders & billers on various
insurance plans, schedule of benefits, covered/non-covered services &
covered/non-covered diagnoses.
4. Circulating mail to the concern departments related insurance policies and
updates.
5. Co-ordination with doctors, medical secretaries, nurses, coders, billers, &
laboratory staff to minimize the rejection rates.
6. Supervising the claims Submission of Outpatient, Inpatient, Dental & Pharmacy
claims submissions.
7. Perform independent correspondence related to insurance matters and share the
team with updated information from time to time.
8. Worked base line coder having knowledge of coding, Review of captured CPT & ICD
codes, and make sure the codes are medical necessary in compliance with
available documentation.
9. Physician Query - Physician should be queried if there is any conflicting,
ambiguous, incomplete & inconsistent information in the patient record and to
improve the specificity & completeness of the data used to assign diagnosis &
procedure codes in the patient’s medical record.
10. Ensure LOINC coding of certain laboratory tests mandated by HAAD after careful
review of lab results.
11. Careful review & make sure to charge capture of any billable surgical supply items
with appropriate HCPCS codes.

12. Coordinate with all other departments involved in the revenue cycle
management to ensure smooth work flow of day-to-day business operations; IT,
Finance, Adm in, Lab, Pharmacy & Radiology.
13.Successfully managed insurance claims submissions.
14. Ensure claims are settled in accordance with policy and company guidelines
15. Monitor the claims activities; prepare and present reports to management
16. Liaise with repairers or suppliers when needed
17. Resolved queries and complaints in a professional and swift manner
18. Participate in the Quality Management activities of the hospital.
19. Competently participate in training programs conducted by various Insurance
Companies/ HR / Quality Department. And etc...
20. Arrange periodical meetings with department and the doctor’s specialty wise
that would strengthen the teamwork in hospital.
