This document discusses how student-staff partnerships can support the development of digital teaching practices. It explores how partnerships that take a digital literacies approach and are pedagogy-led, sustainable, involve the whole cohort, and recognize student expertise can create communities of practice. Examples are provided of three case studies of projects developed through such partnerships that addressed specific educational needs, including reviews of learning apps, a choose your own adventure chemistry lab safety game, and a virtual reality campus tour. Benefits highlighted include staff being willing to try new digital approaches and students feeling able to contribute to teaching quality.
