MAILCOM PRESENTS JIM MULLAN WITH FRANKLIN AWARD
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (MAY 21, 2010) – Océ Business Services National Operations
Manager Jim Mullan was presented with the prestigious Franklin Award at the recently
concluded MAILCOM 2010 Annual Convention.
Mr. Mullan currently oversees the mail and distribution operations at Chubb Insurance in
Warren, New Jersey. He has worked in the mail profession for more than 35 years,
working for a number of high-profile companies where he managed areas such as office
services, print, distribution, and disaster recovery.
2. This recent award is one in a long list for Mr. Mullan, who was also honored with the
MSMA National Mail Manager of the Year Award in 2006.
The Franklin Award honors leaders whose contributions maintain the value of mail
communications. Benjamin Franklin was the first United States Postmaster General and
is credited with planning and implementing the original U.S. Post Office Department-
predecessor of what is now the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Award recipients receive
an engraved bust of his image in recognition of their achievements.
“We, at MAILCOM, are proud to honor Mr. Mullan with a Franklin Award, putting him
among an elite group of leaders to earn this award,” said Lance Humphries, CMDSM,
MAILCOM’s Managing Director. “Jim earned this award for dedication and energy. At
each stop along his professional career Jim has brought passion to the workplace and
left each department better than when he arrived.”
As one of the largest conventions for mail communications management, The MAILCOM
2010 Global Convention featured more than 140 educational workshops when it ran at
the Atlantic City Convention Center during the week of May 10.
