OBJECTIVE
I am a qualified mechanical fitter/ welder with in depth knowledge of copper processing,
operations and the fixed plant maintenance involved with this form of mining. In particular,
through undertaking my apprenticeship at Northparkes Mines (NPM), I have site specific
knowledge of the mining operation and the fixed plant mechanical equipment in both the
underground and OPD environments. During my time working at NPM, I have
demonstrated strong leadership, safety, team work and organisational skills and identify
with the zero harm culture at NPM.

Contribute to the elimination of equipment failures through detailed and thorough
routine preventative maintenance inspections.
Promoting maintenance best practices through the suggestion and implementation
of improvement ideas for equipment and maintenance procedures using the HIS
system.
Ensuring flexibility in work hours to meet the requirements of the plant during planned
shutdowns and breakdowns, including night shift.
