Key Achievements
While in Afghanistan I was tasked as a lone Medic to take control of the medical welfare of
a squadron of men for a three month period; on a daily basis I was supervising sick
parades for any soldier that was unwell. Providing front line medical cover whilst out on
fighting patrols as well as delivering regular medical training for the men and being
responsible for all medical checks and resupply orders. this was a very intense period of my
life but one of the most rewarding.

Setting up and maintenance of pneumatic core drill and pneumatic power tools.
The use of diamond core drill to drill core holes for the insertion of piles 20x 400ml cores
Assembling UW, placement & fixing of drill and drilling in zero visibility after foul
weather.
UW drilling and securing lifting eye for removal of drilled core.
Use of air lift bags to recover drilled core from hole to surface.
Use of UW pneumatic and air breakers for breaking out concrete.
Assisting barge team in manoeuvring barge, tying off and securing barge, deck hand.
Salvage of lost pile for piling contractors.
Providing safety boat cover for an under bridge inspection team and escorting boats past
bridge while remaining in radio contact with inspection team.
Construction of floating pontoon and safety hand rails.
Connecting and Fastening UW coupling clamps to riser piles.
Pouring of UW concrete to fix damaged structure.
Use of podger to line up holes for fixings on end closing plate.
2. HM Armed Forces - Combat Medic 2010-2015
Medical practitioner providing medical care to civilian and Armed Forces in times of
peace and war both in the UK and over seas.
