HOW MANY KNEW CHARLE JENKINS?
APPA’S LEADERSHIP MESSAGE Something’s going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is it???????????? VOICE OF LEADERSHIP WITHIN APPA in the last decade, since 1998 Charlie Jenkins, Lander Medlin, Glenn Smith, Hal Peterson, Phil Cox, Fred Gratto, Jack Miller, James Canton, Allen Dessoff, Laura Long In early 1998, Douglas Christensen announced the launching of the APPAs Leadership Skills Academy to emphasize 3 core skill areas: Personal Effectiveness, Organizational Effectiveness, and Personal Skills In Leadership. To create the skills needed to deal with change. I’ve read the articles on leadership that have been published in the Facilities Manager since 1998. They are awesome. Charlie passed away in Dec 2004. Is someone taking his place to carry on the message. Is someone going to continue “the voice of leadership” within our ranks. I VOLUNTEER!!!! WHOLE HEARTEDLY.
WHAT’S THE GOAL OF THIS SESSION ?
I had a wake up call last year (2004) “ At the age of 55, I am grown up” I continue to wake up I’m right Going against the grain right Confidently right Sometimes “fighting for right” right - “Dems fighten werds”
