Chief Fabricator, Compliance Safety Officer/Quality Manager/Weld Inspector/ ISO

On site representative responsible for design, fabrication and installation of customer
requirements including overhead cranes, machine modifications, custom applications etc. Responsible for
introduction, implementation and training of a growing company and workforce of 53 people.
Implemented ground floor initiative of all OSHA required manufacturing programs. Engineered and
manufactured machine guards for older machines to bring them into compliance with “machine guarding”
requirements set for in CFR 29. Made Liaison with State and Federal OSHA offices for assistance in
obtaining training materials and program implementation. Wrote, constructed and held all applicable
training classes dealing with all aspects of manufacturing compliance as well as maintaining
documentation. Quality Control Manager for Dirty Martin Arms, sister company of Martin Machine Inc,

Department Manager
Responsible for overseeing production and shipping of 2.2 million cabinet doors annually with
178 employees. Responsible for daily shipments to sister plants in Minnesota and Virginia achieving 100
percent complete and on time shipping 3 years in a row. Implemented 5S and Lean initiatives to improve
production and streamline the processes. Doubled production and reduced the workforce by 28% while
attaining less that 1% recordable and lost time accidents. Maintained corporate tracking of scrap, first pass
yield and rework and implemented processes and procedures to reduce scrap to less than 2 %.
