KEZ Camp is an English immersion camp near Valmiera, Latvia, combining fun activities with new experiences and 24/7 English. It will take place from 6th-18th August.
2. Our Philosophy
Our focus is on improving young people’s English language skills, to not
only use what they know in real situations, but also to increase their
confidence in their own ability and motivate them to realise how useful
English can be in their lives.
We also aim to foster an interaction with nature and a healthy lifestyle,
using English as our lense to see the world through at every moment. So
not only do we endeavour to improve participants’ English skills, but
also to open up their hearts and minds to nature, a range of new sports,
crafts and most of all, friendships.

5. What is immersion?
Studies support that immersion is a superior method of learning. For
example: studies from the Center for Advanced Research on Language
Acquisition (CARLA) and the American Council on the Teaching of
Foreign Languages.
“In traditional second language instruction, the target language is the
subject of instruction. Immersion programs use the target language
for instruction and as a means of communication. This authentic
communications allows students to learn a second language in a
similar manner to the way that they have learned their first.”
-CARLA

to language level
● Approximately 2 hours of formal lessons per day, focused on
