collar stock, and piping( from ¾” up to 36” diameters) With a seasonal supply business for the green
house industry. Developing and manufacturing collapsible wagons, carts and plant transfer systems.
• Initiated the implementation and integration of a new automation line. It was a really in-depth
project so I put together a safety review committee. We worked together for a month to identify
the safety and ergonomic needs, and what procedures would meet those needs.
• Implemented a robotic automation line increased productivity by 230% (record 17 month ROI)
• Responsible for $1M operations budget and $3M capital budget using Visual Manufacturing
Software
• Identified a cost reduction of a paint that was used on an identification plate, I changed the color
green by one shade and it saved us $0.006 per piece, with an annual saving of $252,000
