2. The way in which my kpop magazine represents
the demographic is that through the concept of
the different types of sub-genres that are
portrayed through the photos. Such as, within my
article for my double page spread it updates the
audience about their favourite kpop artist. In
terms of age and gender, the content within my
magazine are appropriate and meets the interests
of the different age groups and genders.
Furthermore, there is an emphasises on the
representation of young teenagers and adults. The
layout of the design has a contrast of colours to
indicates that kpop music subverts to the
stereotype that this genre is overly sweet.
Also, the language that I used in my magazine is
lively so that it would grasp the attention of the
fans.
3. Within my kpop magazine it reflects on the
representation of the use of stereotypes and my
intended audience. For instance, the model in my
photos presents different styles to indicate that
this genre doesn’t just consist of overly sweet
songs. Furthermore, by inform my audience on
how popular a particular kpop artist has become it
signifies that kpop meets the interests of people
that like some of the sub-genres within kpop.
