1. CHERYL PREHEIM 9News Anchor “Reeling From Rio!”
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2016 You will have the pleasure of watching Cheryl in August, Zika or no, and
now, we get to hear how the Olympic planning, writing, filming and broadcasting all took place. Cheryl loves
sports and is the winner of 8 Emmys, 3 National Edward R Morrow Awards and 7 Regional ones. Most of these
awards do not relate to the sporting world, thus making her a newscaster of all trades. Her experience from two
previous Olympics in London and Sochi has brought her some special friendships with athletes Missy Franklin
and Mikaela Shiffrin. She is also the founder of the “Never Shake a Baby” initiative. Let’s kick-off the season in
a big way!
