Are you looking for a way to give back to your community in a meaningful way? There are
hundreds of former foster youth in our community who are making the transition from foster
care to independent living. These young people – ages 18 to 24 – need mentoring and guidance
from people who are willing to share their life experiences, skills and support. In just a few
hours a week, you can have a lasting impact on a young person in our community.
Additional Volunteer Opportunities
Life Skills Seminar Leader
Share your life skills by leading Life Skills
Seminar. We need people with expertise on a
number of topics, including budgeting/personal
finance, resume writing, health and nutrition, and
more!
Direct Service Volunteer
We need volunteers for a wide variety of roles,
including providing move-in support, assisting
with special events, office administrative support,
or helping to support our holiday gift drive.
Contact Jennifer Chapa (see contact information
below, left) for more information about both
volunteer roles, and how you can get involved.
