We have one simple aim as a company and that is to offer and maintain the most advanced and cost effective vehicle
tracking solution in the industry. It is not always the most established Companies that offer the best product or service.
The majority of vehicle tracking systems currently on the market are a one product fits all business model and through
extensive research we have found that most businesses do not want to make their business conform to a standard
product, they want the ability to have a truly bespoke tracking system that ensures they get the most efficient system
that works for them, not the other way around.
We are unique in the tracking market as we develop and produce all our own software in house. This gives us the
flexibility to respond to individual customers requirements such as simple data management, integrating with your
existing back office systems or writing a full and specialised reporting suite so that the system works for your business,
not the other way around.
We also believe that “live tracking” should be just that, LIVE. Unlike the majority of companies in the telematics market
that can offer anything up to 2 minute updates, we offer 30 second tracking as standard with all our systems and we
have the ability to drop this down to 5 seconds should a companyneed moredetails on their vehicles journeys.
Another SATMO difference is that we do not use any external finance companies. We hold our own Consumer Credit
License so all finance is dealt with in house and your contract is with us and not a third party leaseholder.

The SATMO timeline
2014
This year has seen us move forward to develop integral partnerships with several other businesses as we diversify our
range to offer a more “whole of the market” range of tracking solutions. We have also added true live speeding
reports for our vehicle tracking solution which means you will be notified real time of speeding events as and when
they occur. Another feature which has been developed to its full potential is driver profiling and driver behaviour
which is tailor made to each individual customers requirements on what they deem to be acceptable/unacceptable.
We have also started to move into the white label market allowing companies to license our software to use under
their own trading name.
2013
We continued to grow and add features to the site including lone worker protection and Android tracking. We
constantly strive to meet the ever changing needs of our customers and always work in partnership with them to
develop new features and reports to make their day-to day business more efficient.
2012
In 2012 we saw the release of the new tracking portal which included an improved user interface along with new
simplified software. 2012 also saw us move our core systems to Amazon Cloud servers using their EC2 instances and
S3 storage which allowed us to vastly improve our infrastructure with little impact on our corebusiness.
2011
Having been HIGHLY COMMENDED in 2010, in 2011 we took a step up to top the podium and won the Business Car
Techies Award in the category for Best Telematics System. The judges concluded that after a series of improvements
on an already impressive system, wecouldn’t bebeaten.
Another innovative feature we added detects when tracked vehicles enter the London Lower Emissions Zone (LEZ),
helping drivers of older commercial vehicles to avoid heavy penalties. Along with these innovative additions, our
system continued to analyse every journey a driver takes to ensure it is as cost effective as possible.
2010
In 2010 we were HIGHLY COMMENDED by the judges at the Business Car Techies awards. We impressed in the
category for Best Telematics System. Our software and its ability to give live, accurate mpg readings for any time
period from a day to a year, coupled with its capability to retrospectively report and show the difference between the
route driven and the recommended route allowing customers to increase driver productivitywas only the start.
2009
SATMO began trading after 3 years of developing our tracking software. It was the start of an exciting journey.
