1. CIC ARCHIVE
Look not mournfully into the past. It comes not back again. Wisely improve the
present. It is thine. Go forth to meet the shadowy future, without fear.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
US poet (1807 – 1882)
“A prestigious institution without a past is an institution without
a soul”.

3. A message from the web master to future and past generations.
Sixty-five years and many generations have passed by since the first
students came, bringing along their eagerness and enthusiasm for
learning, which echoed in the walls of the old house on 211 Carrera
Street. This site will bring back memories of those years of child play
and lessons given by teachers like: Miss Longeira, Miss Alicia Avalos,
Miss Mary Hill, Mr. Héctor Matamala, Mr. George Webster, Miss
Moon and Head Mistress Mrs. Zenaida Katzen. They all pioneered and
trusted this project- to teach in a foreign language.
