ABOUT US

History of AIESEC
One of the worst conflicts the world has ever seen
resulted in global devastation.
↓
The entire generation of young leaders was either
missing or dead.
↓
A new generation of young leaders would have to
emerge from the universities with the
responsibility of rebuilding their countries.
↓
In September 1946, students from 9 universities and
6 countries came together to build a new
cooperation and to prevent another world war
from occurring.
↓
World War 2 (1939-1945)
Thus, AIESEC is formed!

• AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students
and recent graduates of institutions of higher education.
• Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.
