EDUCATION:
●08/2014~now University of Pennsylvania, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Philadelphia, PA
Master of Science in Engineering, Electrical Engineering , August 2014
● 09/2013~08/2014 University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Chengdu, Sichuan, China)
MS in Communication Engineering(Admitted as Top.1 student )
● 09/2009~07/2013 Northwest University (Xi’an, Shaanxi, China)
BEng in Communication Engineering(GPA 3.41)
ENGINEERING / RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
●Published Paper, An Efficient RFID Anti-Collision Algorithm for ISO 18000-6B Protocol [J] Chinese Journal
of Electronics, Jan., third author. (Dec 2013): Developed an efficient anti-collision algorithm based on the tree search algorithms
to improve the performance of the RFID system. The improvement is achieved by means of the manner of the requests’ building and
the mapping of collision bits.
● Intern, China Unicom , Inc., Sichuan Province, China (winter 2012): Work as a network monitor, find the error situation and
negotiate with technology specialists to solve the problem of base station. Training my communication skills with technology people and also make me familiar with the system that telecom operators work.
● Intern, FirstTo Huawei Authorized Training center, China (summer 2012): Learned about data communication, core
network construction, and network optimization and management. Know the direct current technology used in companies such as
Huawei, and ZTE.
DESIGN PROJECTS:
● Transportation Optimization Project: In an optimization theory course in Wharton school, we make an optimal solution for a business corporation to minimize the transportation cost. We use Linear Modeling Operation methods to optimize its goal.
● Image Denoising: My graduation paper deals with the issue of image denoising in digital image processing, which is entitled
“Image Denoising Based on TV (total variation) Model”. This experience has improved my ability of programming using the
software called Matlab to a large extent.( Spring 2013)
●Gesture Recognition: Together with two other students, I participated in the First National University Innovative Application
Design Contest of IOT (Internet of Things) , which is sponsored by Texas Instruments. This experience helped me have a deeper
understanding of the technology and application of the Internet of Things, of how to program with VC++ for interface and how to
use various functions and transformations in image processing.(Jul. 2012)
●Wireless Sensor Node Coding: Joined in a team and took part in a laboratory project of our university, which is called “nesC
Programming Based on TinyOS Platform”.This process of studying on nesC made me learn more about the applications of the
embedded system, which has improved my understanding of the component-based and event-driven programming.(Fall 2012)
● Localization and Management of Vacant Classroom Seats: Participated in Undergraduate Innovative Experiment Program of
Northwest University. Our team successfully applied for a project called “the Design of Localization and Management of Vacant
Classroom Seats Based on Wireless Sensor Network”.This experience has improved my ability of searching information to solve
practical problems to a large extent, which also lays a foundation for my future study. (2011)
Certificate
National Computer Ranking examination of network technique(2011)
Second provincial-level in Mathematical Contest in Modeling in the year of 2010
