For 13 years at Honeywell Aerospace I created and applied FAA certification
processes
under DO-178B for Supplemental Type Certification (STC) of our onboard
helicopter health and useage monitoring system (HUMS) for Bell, Sikorsky,
Agusta Westland OEMs and operators. I implemented Air Worthiness Release
(AWR) and certification processes of our HUMS systems for the U.S. Army on
AH-64E Apache Guardian, MH-60M Blackhawk and MH-53M Pave Low
helicopters. I created and conducted software build procedures for the
onboard system and software. I wrote the software verification validation test
cases and test procedures. I wrote certification documents including system
requirements, software requirements, design requirements, software code
standards, requirements traceability, verification results documents. I verified
the deliverable software using target hardware and simulated inputs. I
delivered the documents and software to the external customers. I controlled
the source code, deliverable object software and documentation with
ClearCase. I used Seapine’s TestTrack and ClearQuest for bug tracking. I trained
new testers on the embedded and Windows systems under test, how to
simulate inputs with our test station, documentation, and TestTrack,
ClearCase, ClearQuest, Visual Studio, Tornado.

SQA Activities
• Wrote, executed and delivered Test Plan and Test Procedures for the Army and the FAA.
• Contributed to process improvements.
• Used Seapine’s TestTrack to submit, verify and close defect reports.
• Created, maintained and delivered a requirements traceability matrix for multiple versions of our system.
• Used Microsoft Visual Source Safe and IBM Rational’s ClearCase to control source code, deliverable object code
and documentation software.
