Data analysis gives insights. Analysing data is hard.
Analysing data with a time element, lots of missing values and lots of attributes is even harder.
Currently, Deep Learning - a field of machine learning - looks capable of solving these problems more accurately than traditional data mining techniques. Investigating this is the focus of my research.
Addendum: applying Deep Learning is also hard! Therefore, the automated optimisation of Deep Learning hyper-parameters makes this easier so this also falls under my interests.
