workshop will provide a sound foundation for understanding the industry important art and science of mechanical fastening
joining and assembly. The course will draw upon extensive industry experience, as well as material from the book Mechanical
Fastening, Joining and Assembly, Second Edition, as presented by the author (and class instructor) Jim Speck.
The objective of the Fastener Training Institute is to elevate the level of technical
understanding and expertise of the individuals in the fastener industry by providing a
variety of training programs presented by industry experts. Our core purpose is to
enhance fastener use, reliability, and safety by providing training at all levels.
