department, it should be the entire
company”
Firstly, you should put
‘Customer Service’ as the top
most priority.
For that you need to learn extensively about the
PRODUCT’s you are dealing with. Product knowledge
allows you to solve the issues of your customers and also
allows you to discus the features of your products.
Secondly, Value the ‘TIME’ of your
Customers.
“Time is money”
Every customer wants their issues to
get resolved as soon as possible.
Focus on getting back to them or replying to their queries
with the least turnaround time, but never return to them
without fixing the problem. Maintaining the company’s
reputation is in your hands.
You should be well aware of the
various ways to solve a specific
problem.
Thirdly, ‘SOLVE’ the problem
Innovatively.
You must always try to experiment with the varied ways
of solving an issue with your problem solving team and
use the one which is unique and which is loved by your
customers as well.
“ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING”
Fourthly, keep a ‘Positive
Attitude’ all the way.
A positive attitude ensures a Positive Customer
Experience. Your attitude should be mirrored through
your language and the tone of your voice. Your voice
should be humble and be sympathetic towards their
problem, whether be it via call or text or chat support.
Fifthly, provide ‘Friendly Services’.
When talking about
providing Customer-Friendly Services, I
want you to know your customers and
to treat them as Individuals.
Every customer wants better customer care service and
this means they want to be treated more like friends
rather than mere tickets. They dislike when they are
treated any less and your procedure is prolonged.
Sixthly, Add an extra mile by
being ‘Pro-Active’.
Anticipate your customer’s
thoughts and needs before they
even have to state or articulate
them.
When customers feel like you are putting efforts to value
them, they keep coming back. Sending exclusive
promotional code to your customers on their special
occasions like birthdays or anniversaries proves their
importance.
