World Language Educator professionally focused in student-centered pedagogy, evidence-based proficiency assessment, Teacher Training, and Instructional Technology for 21st Century Learning. She co-authored Barron’s AP Chinese Language and Culture, and serves as a Reader for College Board/ETS since the inauguration of AP Chinese in 2007. Joanne speaks regularly at national and global conferences such as ACTFL, NCLC, ICICE and AP conferences. She served as a master teacher in Hawaii Startalk Program, and is the Chinese Language Director at Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy.
