The idea came from the fact that existing services can find jobs that meet basic criteria which are skills and experience of candidates, but without taking into consideration the distance that the candidate is willing to commute to his new job. Jobtrottr solves this problem by allowing candidates seeking a job or employers seeking a candidate anywhere on the planet by limiting the radius centered on the residence address of the candidate or place of work while providing the same basic functionality other services provide and improving the quality of results.
