three years.Inthat time I have seenJoe progress andexcel inmanyareas.I feel thatIcan give an
adequate judge of hischaracterand workethic.I am currentlyservingasthe districtmanagerforour
company. I firstmetJoe while workingasageneral manager,he appliedtoourstore and I couldtell
quicklythatJoe had the potential tobe an outstandingemployee.
Joe’sfirstexperienceswiththe foodservice andretail industrywere the same asmanyothersentering
the businessforthe firsttime,filledwithfrustration.The fastpacedatmosphere andattentiontodetail
that isneededtosucceed,canfor some people,be overwhelming.ForJoe thispressure seemedto
motivate andinspire him.He wasalwayswillingtotake criticismandadjust.Everychance thatJoe had
to progressandmake himself better,he took,andmade the mostof it,alwaysstrivingto be the best.
Quite oftenIwouldfindJoe challengingotherstosee whocouldaccomplishtasksmore proficiently,and
if he didn’twin,he wasalwaysworkingtomake sure he didn’tlose more than once. Withthistype of
demeanorandworkethiche alsoinspiredotherstorise andbe better.
In additiontohisstrongworkethic,Joe alwaystakesthe time toinvestinothers.He iscaring and
considerate of others.He hasa talentfor relating andmakingall those aroundhimfeel welcome.Itdid
not take longfor me to realize thatwiththistalentandhisun-dauntingresolvetoworkharderthan all
those aroundhim,that Joe wasthe kindof personthatI wantedmanagingalongside me. He quickly
became a managerand eventuallyworkedhiswayupto the positionof general managerinthe
companyat one of our stores.
As a general managerJoe wasresponsible forall daytoday operationsof the restaurant,from hiringto
disciplinary actions, foodand laborcostanalysis, scheduling, andordering.Withhisnew responsibilities
as the general manager, againcame the resolve tobe the bestand do hisbest.He did a wonderful job
and I wassad to see himleave. Ifullyandwhole heartedlygive mypersonal recommendationforJoe
