5. PERSONNEL PROFILE
John Glavey
John has worked in Power Generation, Oil & Gas,
Water and Primary Industries for 20 years starting
out as a Resident Mechanical Engineer on the
construction and commissioning of a 400 MW
Combined Cycle Power Station. He worked as a
Project Engineer and Project Manager on some
of the most significant cross country pipeline
projects in the UK in both natural gas and water,
where his primary focus was on the above ground
installations, pressure reductions stations and
interconnections to existing network. He was
involved in these EPC Contracts from preliminary
design through to commissioning.
Over the past number of years John has called on
his experience in Project Engineering and Project
Management to successfully deliver on a range of
Major Maintenance Projects. Some of these projects
are outlined later but include planned campaign
maintenance of offsite facilities, major maintenance
of port loading and tank farm infrastructure, restart
of a methanol production plant and the turnaround/
shut down of major production plants.
John has a proven record of delivering successful
Projects through strong leadership, organisation and
decisiveness.
Kaue Nazareth
Kaue is a highly motivated and results-driven
professional who delivers in all stages of design
and implementation, from inception through to
completion. More than 15 years of expertise in the
electrical, mechanical and communications industry,
including a time served electrical apprenticeship in
the United Kingdom with on the ground, practical
experience and knowledge of the industry.
Kaue has a proven client-focus, communication
and negotiation skills, cultivating strong business
relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and
suppliers, managing key decisions throughout the
project lifecycle, and forging a strong team ethic. He
is a natural leader demonstrating the planning and
organisational skills to manage multiple priorities
and to perform to the highest standards within
high-pressure, time-critical environments.
Mike Roberts
Mike has over 15 years’experience in commissioning
and supervision in the oil and gas, energy, water and
power generation industries. He has extensive skills
and knowledge of Heavy Industrial Installation and
Maintenance, along with a strong background in
Control Systems.
Mike has a strong work ethic and technical
knowledge, he is a practical thinker and coupled
with his proficiency across the disciplines of
electrical, control and mechanical systems has
ensured the delivery of his projects on time and on
budget.
Rodney Southall
Rod has over 30 years’experience in the oil and
gas, petrochemical and related industries. He has
extensive experience in Project Management,
Construction Management and project control
systems, and a proven track record for developing
and delivering projects on schedule and on budget.
Rod has managed EPC contracts on various projects
and has experience in Brownfield and Greenfield
projects from conceptual design through FEED and
construction to start up and operations. He has
strong communication and team skills and delivers
in a multicultural, multi-disciplinary, collaborative
environment.

6. Jodi Magee
Jodi has over 15 years’experience in office
management and, cost and financial control. She
has worked in the oil and gas, and petrochemical
industries for the past 8 years. Prior to this she
worked in the banking and financial sector.
She is proficient in a number of account/financial
management packages and the Microsoft Office
suite, in particular Excel. She has been responsible
for cost control and reporting on major maintenance
projects along with invoicing, accounts payable,
payroll and P&L accounts.
Jodi is a dedicated, organised and motivated
professional with excellent communication skills.
She delivers concise and clear cost reporting
customised to Project and Client requirements.
Vicki Roberts
Vicki has worked for over 10 years in Project
Support and has been involved in some of the
most significant Projects in recent years including
new builds, major maintenance, restarts and
turnarounds.
She is highly motivated with extensive experience
in oil, gas, petrochemical and power generation
industries, and thrives in a dynamic and fast
paced environment. Vicki is organised, honest and
professional with remarkable communication &
prioritisation skills in managing the diverse needs of
all staff & clients.

7. PROJECTS
Motunui Campaign Maintenance
As part of an extensive campaign of maintenance
of its Taranaki offsite assets, Methanex put
together a turnkey package to completely
refurbish Faull Road Mixing Station and Motunui
Delivery Point.
The scope involved restoration, preventative
and corrective remedial maintenance activities
including painting for corrosion control, repair
or replacement of end of life equipment to all
Methanex owned plant contained within the
compounds.
As Project Manager, John successfully delivered
both Projects on time and on budget with no
LTI’s or MTI’s.
MOT 01 Restart Project
As Mechanical Works Supervisor, John was
responsible for the delivery of all mechanical
works associated with the restart of the MOT 01
Methanol Production Plant (part of the overall
Motunui Methanol Production Facility). This Plant
had been idle for 8 years.
The Project involved the complete inspection,
overhaul and repairs of pressure vessels and
exchangers, piping systems and supports,
rotating equipment, lube skids, valves and trim
heater. It also involved the replacement of both
Converter and De-Sulfurization Catalysts.
MOT 02 Turnaround
As Project Manager, John had overall responsibility
for the safe, on time and cost effective delivery
of the Turnaround of the MOT 02 Methanol
Production Plant (part of the overall Motunui
Methanol Production Facility) while maintaining
the highest levels of quality.
This was the first Turnaround on the MOT 02
Methanol Production Plant since its restart in 2008.

8. PROJECTS
Omata 02 Tank Farm Refurbishment
As Project Manager, John was responsible for the
complete delivery of this Project.
The Project included inspection, refurbishment
and repair of a 45m litre tank, secondary
containment, inlet and export facilities, a 3km
pipeline and tie-in to existing ship loading
infrastructure.
Ballance Kapuni Turnaround
As Turnaround Manager, John had overall
responsibility for the Ballance Agri-Nutrients
Turnaround at their Kapuni Ammonia/Urea
Production Facility. During the Turnaround over
1,700 work orders were competed with 127,000
man hours worked.
The Project was successfully completed in April
2016 and the Plant is now achieving record levels
of production.
