The managing director and principal owner of Atlanta Piano Teachers, John Stonko has utilized his love of the piano to aid players of all stages for more than two decades. Responsible for the piano program at Emory University's Center for Life-Long Learning, Stonko spent 13 years teaching music theory, sight-reading, and music history to groups ranging from introductory to advanced skill levels. Students benefited from lessons in his proprietary techniques, such as “Principle of Twos,” “Interval Line Reading,” and “Thinking in Key Playing.”
