I received the PhD and MSc in Microelectronics from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in Brazil. During my Ph.D. I researched architectural solutions for correcting soft errors in SRAM-based FPGAs. I have experience in radiation testing of FPGAs with high energy neutrons and heavy ions. Also, I developed hardware fault injection platforms for Xilinx FPGAs including Virtex-5 and 7-series FPGAs. I have participated in the Brazilian NanosatC-BR2 project, developing part of the UFRGS scientific payload and currently, I am developing the RDCU unit for ESA PLATO mission.
