This is a statement regarding my involvement with the Monash University student industry placement
program in 2016.
Juno Pharmaceuticals Australia is a rapidly growing global health care company with a focus on bringing
innovative pharmaceuticals to hospitals and health care specialists.
Joshua Reid completed two weeks with Juno Pharmaceuticals as part of the Monash Science Student
Industry Placement Program. While at Juno, Josh worked as part of the Regulatory Affairs team gaining
experience with authoring CTD units for submission to TGA. Josh worked under my supervision
summarising test methods for Module 3 Quality in addition to preparing self‐assessable requests to update
product information documents. Josh also assisted in publishing the applications for submission.
Josh exhibited a rare combination of speed and accuracy that has enabled him to produce a very high
volume of work while maintaining very high standards for quality. Josh was able to follow complex
directions in a thorough and detailed manner and also worked independently without close supervision
when it was appropriate.
In summary participating in this program was a very positive experience for Juno Pharmaceuticals and we
look forward to further collaborations with the Monash University student industry placement program.
