Julie Nelsen's interior design portfolio summarizes several of her commercial and residential interior design projects. - 2. JULIE NELSEN Brewhouse Inn and Suites, Milwaukee, WI During my internship with Landmark, A Boelter Company, we managed the interior design of the Brewhouse Inn and Suites. This was a conversion of the previous Pabst Brewery location that was shut down in 2007. The 90-room boutique hotel opened in May 2013. - 5. JULIE NELSEN The Docket St. Louis University St. Louis, MO The Docket opened in August 2013 at the SLU Law School. Exterior Branding The Docket serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The local press deemed The Docket as both “beautiful” and “cool”.
- 6. JULIE NELSEN This design board was created for Landmark/Boelter for a proposal for Black Bear Crossing Café on Lake Como in St. Paul, MN. A few modifications were made for the final project, but Landmark/Boelter earned the business from the meeting where the board was presented. Project is not yet completed. - 16. JULIE NELSEN Owner’s Remodeled Bathroom Floor Plan Elevation To create a more functional space in this Sustainable home, I created a separate shower and tub area. I used reclaimed sinks and tub, but new faucets and toilet to reduce water usage. The space will allow for aging in place for this couple in their mid-50s with a “roll-in” shower that is wheel chair accessible if necessary.
