Today, I will talk about my favorite band, Bon Iver. I think that it's a music that is listened to with the heart. The music of Bon Iver is characterized by the magazines like «a candy, sweet without acidity».
Justin DeYarmond Edison Vernon alias Justin Vernon was born in 30 April 1981. He ’ s an American indie folk singer-songwriter. Vernon attended Memorial High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, graduating in 1999. He then attended college at the University of Wiscon sin–Eau Claire. Vernon majored in Religious Studies and minored in Women's Studies. While in high school and college, Vernon founded the band DeYarmond Edison. DeYarmond Edison's core consisted of Vernon (guitarist and vocalist), Brad and Phil Cook (bass and keyboards), and Joe Westerlund (percussion). The band saw varying line-up changes during its five years of existence.
After the breakup with girlfriend and a bout with mononucleosis, Vernon left Raleigh, North Carolina, and moved back to Wisconsin to spend the oncoming winter months at his father's cabin in Medford. According to Vernon, it was during this time that the "Bon Iver" moniker first entered his mind; while bedridden with mononucleosis, he began watching the TV series Northern Exposure on DVD. The name Bon Iver is derived from the French phrase bon hiver meaning "good winter". Bon Iver is birth, it ’ s an American folk band founded in 2007. In addition to Vernon the band includes Michael Noyce, Sean Carey and Matthew McCaughan.
