When I’ve needed to express myself in ways that I otherwise cannot through numbers, formulae, or even words, I turn to art. I’ve recently gone through times when I’ve felt myself losing the sense of who I am, struggling to come to terms with my identity. I’ve tried to seek therapy through art, channelling my thoughts and creating pieces as an outlet for my frustrations, a vehicle of my explorations, and a platform for revelation. These pieces explore various subjects, utilising an array of 2D, digital, and sculptural media to offer an insight into the human psyche, while also looking at the fascinating relationship between destruction and creation, and how these two seemingly opposite concepts are instead more inherently linked than we think.
