Dear Mr. Kumar,
Subject: Contract of Employment
We have pleasure in offering you employment with Qatar Aircraft Catering Company on the
following terms and conditions. This contract will be effective from the date you actually report for
duty.
1. Job Designation : Chef On Duty
2. Job Grade : QC.05
3. The total monthly salary will be as follows :
a.Basic salary : QAR. 4,250
b.Transport allowance : QAR. 600
c.Housing : Company Accommodation or OAR 2,500 per month.
The option of providing Company Accommodation or
paying Housing Allowance is at sole discretion and choice
of the Company.
d.Laundry allowance : Laundry services provided by the company
The company will provide you with an ERP (Exchange Rate Protection) Allowance which
envisages to immunize 30% of the employee's basic salary against appreciation of the
employee's home currency vs. Qatari Riyals.
4. Other terms and conditions of employment are as follows :
a.Working hours - 48 hours per week (Category-Shift duty).
b.Terminal Gratuity - Three weeks basic salary for each completed full year of
continuous service payable at the end of the employment.
5. Leave ticket class, once every year for yourself up to the nearest international airport
to your hometown (wherever possible Qatar Airways network will be utilized).
6. Rebate Ticket — ID 50 'Y' class & ID 90 'Y' class for yourself once every year on Qatar
Airways network only after the completion of probation period.
7. You are entitled to 30 calendar days annual leave on full pay for each year of service.
8. The company will reimburse you the cost of a Medical Health Card at the designated
Government Hospital.
9. Probation Period
You will be initially employed on probation basis for the first six (6) months from your
date of joining during which time either Party can terminate the employment by giving the
other Party one (1) week written notice. No leave will be granted during the Probation
Period.
10. Termination
Either party shall have the right to terminate the employment, at any time. by giving the
other party at least thirty (30) days' notice in writing or payment in lieu.
11 You shall be assigned to any suitable department that may be decided upon time to time
by the company.
