PEOPLE OFTEN SAY YES
BECAUSE
• They are afraid of Hurting People
• They think people will dislike them, if
they say NO.
• They feel uncomfortable, while
saying NO.
HOW TO SAY NO
• Say NO with Recommendations.
• Avoid negative words.
• Use Positive Language.
• Answer a request with Question.
• Should have good face expression,
without any doubts.
HOW TO SAY NO (CONTD..)
• Buy TIME, or to get Helped.
• Don’t let the person to spend more
time on your answer.
• Use external resources to help,
WHILE SAYING NO.
• Say NO first, before the request is
made.
THINGS TO AVOID IN SAYING NO
DELAY
- If you decided to say NO, say it fast without
unnecessary delay.
 UNCLEAR MESSAGE
-Say NO in precise and straigtforward
manner. Do not leave any room for
misunderstandings.
QUESTIONS, PEOPLE DIRECTLY SAY
‘NO’ ARE……
• Would you like to buy a new iPhone, because it is
a new technology based ?
• Would you like to invite people on facebook for
some event?
• Would you like to have a food that is costly but is
not Healthy?
• Would you take another drink that you don’t
want, but your friends insist you “have to have”?
• Would you like to be fail in your life?
QUESTIONS, PEOPLE DIRECTLY SAY
‘NO’ ARE (contd..)……
• Would you like to purchase convenience
goods on high price?
• Do you want that the price of
Petrol/Diesel/LPG/CNG hike?
• Do you want to have late night work, instead
of having sweet sleep?
• Do you want your competitor to get more
Projects than you?
• Do you want to have a sad and boring life?
CONCLUSION
It is very difficult to say NO, to a person who is very
close to us, as we feel uncomfortable to deny. But
sometimes it is very harmful to not say NO,
because may be YES is not in our favor.
There are many ways, we can say NO, that I
discussed in this PPT for example avoid negative
words while saying No, Answer a request with
question, etc.
So, It is better to say no if you don’t find you
interested in any task or feel uncomfortable.
